Making sure you have the correct Disney World Tickets to hand when visiting Disney World in no mean feat. It’s not just a case of pitching up and buying your entrance tickets, as there are a number of options available to you.
When purchasing your tickets for entry to the Disney theme parks, you start off with the Magic Your Way Ticket. You may have heard this being called the “base ticket”. This ticket gives you one days entry into either the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom. You can buy up to ten days entry on your Magic Your Way ticket.
A key point to note is that you can only visit one park per day with this ticket. For example you cannot visit the Animal Kingdom in the morning and go over to the Magic Kingdom in the afternoon, although It is possible to leave the park you visit and return to that park later in the day if you wish.
This ticket expires fourteen days after its first use, so if you buy a five day ticket and only use four days at the theme parks, you’ll lose the extra day.
As we’ve already stated, it is not possible to “park hop” with the Magic Your Way ticket. So Disney World have made it possible for you to do this by adding the Park Hopper Ticket option to your base ticket.
With the Park Hopper add-on you can visit any one of the four main Disney parks as many times as you want in a day, and it will only ever count as one visit. So if you wish to visit Magic Kingdom during the day, but fancy a meal at Epcot in the evening this will only count as one visit on your ticket.
This is a very popular option, that adds a great deal more flexibility to your visiting plans.
