Honey I Shrunk the Audience is set within the Imagination! area of Future World. This is an excellently scripted 3-D movie featuring Rick Moranis, the star of the original Honey, I Shrunk the Kids movie that this attraction is based.
The premise of the tale is that inventor Wayne Szalinski (Rick Moranis) has won the Inventor of the Year award and demonstrate his new inventions, the Dimensional Duplicator and Incredible Shrinking Machine. Remember to put on your 3-D safety goggles at this point!
Szalinski arrives to collect it in miniaturized form riding his new transportation vehicle called the Hoverpod, unfortunately he has a mishap and loses control of the vehicle. Inevitably the clumsy Professor manages to shrink the audience with his Incredible Shrinking Machine, and we come face to face with a few giant sized disasters whilst the Professor and his family attempt to get us back to our normal size.
Honey I Shrunk the Audience opened way back in 1994 and you can certainly tell the difference in 3-D quality if you compare next to Philharmagic. That said, the excellent storyline, clever gags and the way the physical effects such as the seat movements make this one of the most enjoyable 3-D movies around.
