There has been some progress at Pixar Place, with the main walled off area finally being removed. So we now have a small store selling Toy Story Mania themed merchandise and the Hey-Howdy-Hey Take Away counter-service/outdoor vending location. Disney have announced that the official opening date for the new Toy story Mania ride situated in the new Pixar Place area of the park will be on the 31st of May. Cast members, the press and annual pass holders have had their chance to experience the new attraction since the start of the month.

Toy Story Mania! is currently been tested by cast members and annual passholders at the moment but in readiness for it’s official opening, Disney have released a load of interesting facts about it’s newest attraction. Most interestingly for me is that the ride will have a single rider option.
