Winnebago Campsites At Disney Theme Parks

I am looking for some information about campsites located near or in the Orlando Disney Theme Parks.
I am considering the possibility of driving a Winnebago to the Theme Park and setting up in a Camping community for the duration of our Orlando visit. Are there any accomodations of this sort for the Disney theme park visitors?

Those are some good services offered by Wilderness Resort. They even have laundry and baby sitting services available. Now wouldnt the kids be surprised at this!

I see they also have listed a couple of transportation services directly from the resort to the theme parks and they look to be handicap friendly as well. This is a good find and very useful information.

I have heard some pretty good things about the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. My aunt and uncle took their kids to Orlando recently and had a pretty decent experience.
It sounds like they have all the amenities you could possibly ask for while "roughing it".

That sounds interesting. I wouldn't want to do this for my first trip, but maybe on another visit. I like the outdoors, but I hate leaving my little luxuries behind

Are the shuttles to the parks included in the price, or do you have to pay each journey?

I decided to take a look and it seems to be quite a pleasant place to stay at. As far as my first visit, I don't see myself staying there, however, in the future I would definitely want to give it a try. By the way, the url for the Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is below.

Thanks for the link Hypnotique - I took a look at it and it does look nice. I like the sound of exploring the trails on horseback.

I can't believe that they offer so many facilities at a camp site.

I agree though that the first time a proper hotel would be better.

These are probably cheaper options for the budget minded.

Thanks for the links spondishy - some of the places on there look nice, but not quite as luxurious as the resort ones!

They're nice options for people who like camping and don't want to spend a fortune though

I think I'll save up and try to spend a little time on the resort one trip.
