Can we stay at a Disney World Resort Hotel and not visit the parks?

Discuss the Can we stay at a Disney World Resort Hotel and not visit the parks? thread at the Walt Disney World Resorts forums at the Walt Disney World Orlando Visiting Forum.
We've been to Disney World several times, and always enjoy it! I'm wondering if we can stay at a Disney Resort without visiting any of the parks?...

Hi TJA. There's no requirement to go to any of the parks when staying at any of the Disney World Resorts and hotels. Visiting a resort can be a vacation in itself although I always go to the parks
