T-Rex Cafe at Downtown Disney 2008
Landry's are opening another themed restaurant at Downtown Disney in 2008. The theme of this one will be dinosaurs using its T-Rex theme (there's one already open in Kansas.

This has certainly dragged on for ages. Just looking at some construction photos they still look a way off from completion.
By all accounts the aim is for fall 2008, which doesn't seem too challenging for a restaurant really. |

There have been a lot of questions around regarding whether or not the T-Rex restaurant is accepting phone reservations, whether you can book via Disney's ADR system. Well the answer at the moment is no, only walk-in reservations can be taken at the moment.
Here's a response from the T-Rex Cafe to a mail I sent. Thank you for your inquiry into the new T-REX Orlando! We are proud to announce that our restaurant is open today! We will be on a walk-in basis only until 2009. You may check our website at anytime or call 407-828-TREX (reservations are currently not being taken). We will be accepting the Premium, Platinum and Wine and Dine Disney Dining Programs for those on Disney Dining. Have a T-REXcellent day! |
