Hi Extreme,

Universal's Rip Ride Rockit Roller Coaster closed in early September reportedly for "routine maintenance", although no date for a re-opening was ever offered up. A bulletin by the engineers behind the ride (Maurer Sohne) regarding problems with the x-car coaster trains coincidentally came out at the same time as the closure.

There's been reports of a little movement on the ride, so hopefully it'll reopen for your trip in November.
