I just got an email from KLM saying that as of today flights WITHIN EUROPE will have restrictions on the amount of liquid allowed in hand luggage, and that they have to be kept in a clear plastic bag.
The rules sounded a lot like a slightly more relaxed version of the restrictions that were in effect for flights to America a while back.
As far as I was aware those restrictions had been lifted, but since I only found out about the ones within europe the day they went live (even though warnings have been on airline sites for a while) I thought I'd double check.
Were they lifted or just relaxed? Does anyone know what the long term implications are regarding this liquid problem?
