What do you use for international calls while you're away?

I have stopped using phonecards, and tend to use Skype most of the time - either from the hotel or from a Wifi hotspot outside.

Is this practical while you're at WDW - are there Wifi spots in the hotel, or in areas of the park quiet enough to make a phone conversation practical?

Or should I invest in a phone card for this trip?
