    Surviving Long Haul Flights

Do you have any tips for surviving long haul flights?

After my last trip, I know I will be taking a set of good noise cancelling headphones - the constant, always the same airplane noise drives me insane.

I think I will take an inflatable pillow too, as the ones on the planes aren't usually very good.

The one thing I can't figure out how to get around is the dry air on the plane - it gives me a bad head and makes my nose hurt. Does anyone have any suggestions for sorting that out?

The simplest solution is just loads of fluids preferrably water, maybe take a couple of painkillers prior to departure and try and get some shut eye!
