    SeaWorld Orlando

What do you Orlandiers (or anyone who's been to Orlando really) think about SeaWorld Orlando. I've been to the SeaWorld in San Diego many times as both a child and an adult and I loved it.

I'm wondering if the Orlando Sea World is comparable? Does the fact that Orlando is not actually on the ocean detract any from the attraction?

I would also love to find out more about SeaWorld Orlando. I have been to SeaWorld San Antonio a while back and loved the visit. Everyone that I was with enjoyed it just as much as I did as well, this might be a good choice to put into my agenda if it is as enjoyable as my experience in San Antonio.

That's good to hear that the San Antonio SeaWorld was a nice visit. I would think that both of these parks would have some similarities since they're both inland parks.
Has anyone been to both the Orlando and the San Antonio SeaWorlds? What are the differences between these parks?

I have been to Orlando's and I loved it. Every year I would purchase a season pass so that I could go often. There was a series of two months when I went every saturday.

I don't know much about the other Sea World's, but Orlando's has "Kraken", which is a really great roller coaster. I have a story about that too. One saturday me and my girlfriend went. We were some of the first into the park, and therefore the line for Kraken was exponently shorter than normal. We rode it 13 times, and on the 13th time, it stopped on the way up. Moral of the story: Riding Kraken 13 times is too much.

Okay, duly noted...do not ride Kraken more than 12 times, lol.

I wasn't even aware that there were roller coasters at SeaWorld, so I guess I need to check that out. SeaWorld Orlando is sounding better all the time.
When I went to the one in San Diego some time ago the only "ride" they had was the skytower. I guess they have others now as well.

Definitely didn't know SeaWorld had roller coasters. Sounds fun, let me see if I can ride Kraken 13 times. I love roller coasters, I will definitely find myself going to SeaWorld for this as well as the experience and to be able to add on to the experience I had in San Antonio, I really had a lot of fun there and still have pictures of it somewhere around here.

OH, that sounds scary getting stuck on a ride. Being the fraidy cat that I am, I'd definately not want to experience anything like that.

When I was young and lived north of where I do now, my parents took us to Sea World in Ohio a couple of times.

Sea World was definately an amusement park that suited me to a Tee. I do not recall that it had any rides that you could get on. Which was fine with me.

From what I understand now, Sea World in Ohio was bought by Six Flags Amusement Park and they did not keep the Sea World as part of the Amusement park.
    What a shame!

I would probably enjoy going to Sea World in Florida to enjoy the sea life, but not for any rides to scare me or get me stuck up in the air

    Seaworld/aqatica

Seaworld is SO FUN! I went there last year and now I hear they're building a new park! I haven't been to the new one, but am totally looking forward to it! Has anyone been to Aquatica? I wonder how it is. If anyone's been, let me know!

    Hi,
SeaWorld is located north of Walt Disney World and south of Orlando, where I-4 meets the Bee Line Expressway. At Seaworld, get up-close and personal with your favorite sea animals, including worldwide animal-celebrity Shamu the orca whale. At Seaworld you can explore the mysteries of the sea. SeaWorld's NEWEST state-of-the-art waterpark, Aquatica, is one-of-a-kind.

DO NOT PAY FOR THE SEA LION TOUR. I would give it no stars, but that was not an option. Save your money because you will not be up-close with a sea lion like the title and the picture suggest. First, you go to Pacific Point Preserve and they tell you the difference between a sea lion and a seal; which can be read on the signs around the exhibit. Next, you go to where the “Clyde & Seamore” show takes place. You are asked to sit in the first two rows and then are quickly taken up to the tank, a group at the time to have your picture quickly taken. You are not allow to look at the sea lion (you keep your back towards him) and have to take a large step forward before you can walk back to your seats. Then you head back to Pacific Point Preserve where you are given a bucket of fish to feed them with everyone else. Just save your money and get to the show early to sit in the first two rows and spend $20 and get five trays of fish to feed the seals/sea lions at Pacific Point Preserve for the same experience
