I've been looking at the NASA website and it looks like there may be a shuttle launch going ahead whilst we are in Orlando in April. I see you can buy your tickets in advance. Has anyone done this?

A shuttle launch is a truly awe-inspiring sight, and if you get the chance to see a launch I'd definitely go for it.
The problem is usually scheduling. Due to weather and technical difficulties, the launch dates usually change.
Here's a link to the schedule.

I see the date your looking at is marked as tentative at the moment, so I'd hold off for now. Also, the tickets are non-refundable, so if the shuttle launch is cancelled then you'll lose the cost of the ticket.
You can buy the shuttle launch tickets online at the following link:

I have always wanted to go see a launch. Even though the hype isnt very big anymore about space travel it is still something that everyone should experiance. The only thing is that it is I dont want to drive all the way there, then the wether not be good and it get cancled. But I hope I get to see one soon, I've always wanted to.
