Indoor Skydiving Orlando

I just found out about a company called Skyventure that does 'indoor skydiving' - this is really interesting for me because I'm too small and light to do real skydiving or even bungee jumping. I'd really like to do it but they won't let me for safety reasons.

It sounds like this is safer and that they can have more relaxed restrictions, so I think I'll try to give it a go:

Hows that work then... Does the air blow upwards? I'm assuming you don't get the feeling of freefalling?

Wow, Its something I have seen on TV, I would love to try it and unfortunatley I am not brave enough to throw myself out of a plane,


answer: Yes there are big fans which blow air upwards keeping you suspended

Wow, that's amazing. I'm pretty sure I've seen them training astronauts on something similar to this. The blowing air simulates a free fall. Pretty cool stuff.

Yea, thats what I figure it is a big room where they blow a ton of air and you go up and down I would think that would be weird feeling but def. a good experience.

I wanted to do this but MAN is it pricey!!! cnat remember exactly but its like $70 odd for 10mins
