Question? Anyone stayed at Regal Palms??

Hi there, we are travelling over to Orlando for half term and the week after - so we get Halloween in America!!

We have booked with Virgin, and we are staying in a 4 bed townhouse on the Regal Palms Resort. I was wndering if anyone has stayed there, and can offer any tips or hints, recommendations for dining etc please xx.

We have 3 children aged almost 8, 6 and 2 and a half. We are also travelling with my inlaws, and we have hired a car.

Well you're in Davenport. Pretty much all the villas are either in Davenport or Kissimmee.

On highway 27 there's a big Walmart and a publix supermarket so you can get your nappies etc from there. Championsgate is just around the corner. That has a few takeaways etc.

You're not a million miles from anything restaurant wise.

My main tip would be take it easy. First time I went, my youngest used to fall asleep eating a meal at night time, so we just used to visit a park one day and then take a day off the next.

I think you'll love it. I play golf there all the time. My company services Davenport, FL, so if there's anything we can do for you, while your staying here, don't hesitate to call us. Plenty of restaurants on 192, which is a few mile from property. Kids will love the lazy pool. Is awesome!! Hope you enjoy your stay.

Tip: search for restaurants on Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway (HWY 192). For 5-10 minute ride, try to find restaurants in the 7000-9000 block.

I think you will really like Regal Palms. They have a great water park at the resort and the townhomes, at least the ones I have seen, are really nice and spacious.

I would caution you that they do have timeshare company onsite, so just becareful and don't get sucked into taking one of the tours.

Hi thanks for that. Yeah weve been warned about the timeshares - no fear of us giving up a day of our hols to a sales pitch with a promise of a free ticket that we prob wont use lol!!
