I've heard a lot of references to the Disney Vacation Club, but I'm not sure how it works.

It sounds like you need to pay a fee to join, then you buy / trade points which can be used for trips to WDW / entrance to certain attractions, etc.

But I'm still not entirely sure how it works.

How many times would you need to go to see a return on your investment? Is it only for people who go to Orlando every single year?

Is it just a twist on traditional time shares or is it better / safer than a timeshere?
