Magic Kingdom with teens and younger children?

    Hi,

I'm looking for some tips on visiting the Magic Kingdom with my teenage boys and my daughter who will be six when we visit.

As you can imagine what the boys like and my daughter likes are quite diverse, on the other hand I would like my boys to be with us so we can enjoy the magic together.

Any tips on how we should play the rides/attractions.

    Thank you.

Hi there. I can understand not wanting to split up. When are you going to Orlando and how many days are you planning to spend at the Magic Kingdom?

Hi Spondishy. We're lined up to go around this time next year. We're going for two weeks but there is sooooooo much to do so we were planning only on one day.

OK its all do-able if you plan so don't panic. The key as always is to get there prior to official opening. They do tend to open a little earlier than advertised.

When my kids were small they'd go on any ride but the main one your little ones may not want to go is Space Mountain. It's not too scary a coaster and my kids loved it but it has a 44'' minimum height requirement.

I reckon the busiest rides in order will be will be:

    Splash Mountain
    Space Mountain
    Peter Pan's Flight
    Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

If the wait is less than 25 mins I would say ride otherwise look to get a fastpass. You can get a fastpass at the following Magic Kingdom rides:

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - Frontierland
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin - Tomorrowland
    Jungle Cruise - Adventureland
    Mickey's PhilharMagic - Fantasyland
    Peter Pan's Flight - Fantasyland
    Space Mountain - Tomorrowland
    Splash Mountain - Frontierland
    Winnie the Pooh - Fantasyland

And if your plan goes awry.... don't stress and just have a fun day.
