Hi,
I was just wondering what the best days to visit the various theme parks is thought to be. Does it matter?

It is generally thought the best days to visit each of the parks is the day after the Extra Magic Hour. Basically the Extra Magic Hour allows people staying at the Disney Resorts to get in early or stay later than everyone else.
So in answer to your question, if the EMH is on a Monday for Magic Kingdom, it may be better to visit that park on a Tuesday.
Anyhow, the link below gives you all the extra info for each Disney Parks EMH schedule.
Hope that helps.

I think that is great that you can use this extra magic hour, I have not heard of it before this thread. I would definitely get one of these tickets I assume you have to pay more for this privilege or is that incorrect?

Oh ok thanks, Sounds kind of expensive to be honest, I am not sure what I want really I am just trying to gather loads of ideas like a sort of brainstorm so I can help decide on what I want to do, where to stay etc.
As Theresa said above, it's generally a good idea to go to a park a day after its extra magic hour. So if Animal Kingdom's extra magic hour is a Wednesday, visit on the Thursday.
Hi,
I think I'd like to visit AFTER the magic hour. So do the parks have set days that they use for the magic hour each week and are there any safe days that you can be sure there are no magic hours?
I would like to calculate the value of the magic hour verses not staying in the resort, but I do not have enough information yet. I'm gathering some numbers and figuring this out. I guess I'm a little cheapskate when it comes to my vacation but I dont want to just throw money out the window, like you say, just to wait in line. What would be the fun in that?
Well the Magic Hour sounds like a fabulous idea. I'm not sure about the Resort stop though. I'm still running several ideas through my head. I guess the magic hour is ONLY available through the resort stay package then?
If that is the case then I definately think it makes more sense to let the magic hour incentive pass before you begin your enjoyment. Could save a little on the crowding maybe.
