Stars appear in Walt Disney World's Year of a Million Dreams Campaign

David Beckham has marked his move to the United States by posing as a Disney character for his latest photo-shoot.

The former England captain donned a cape and medieval costume to become Prince Philip from the Sleeping Beauty film.

He is one of several celebrities including Beyonce Knowles and Lyle Lovett who will appear as one of the animated characters for Walt Disney World's Year of a Million Dreams campaign.

Dragon-slaying Beckham said of the shoot: "There were many Disney characters I liked as a kid.
