    Halloween at Disney?

I'm still stuck in my late 07/ early 08 dilema.

It would be best to wait till Jan / Feb 08, but a friend joked about seeing what they do for Halloween, and, well, it will be our 5th Wedding Anniversarry next halloween so... do they do anything special for Halloween? Any cool shows? Any fancy costumes for the characters?

It would be cool if they did, and might help sway us to going sooner....

I dont know if they have anything but I am really wanting to find out some more about it. I want to know if they offer special discounts to Florida residents... My cousin lives down there and I would love to take my kids to the halloween festival...(If they have one that is).

they probably have some different decoration and stuff, but not a Halloween party, they don't have exactly discounts, but some packages of several days which are much cheaper

I bet it will be alot of fun I wouldn't mind going over a holiday and seeing how it is decorated and everything. I'm sure they do it somewhat different every year to make sure it stays interesting.

Halloween is quite a fun time in Orlando. Disney has the Not-so-scary Halloween parties going on. But my favourite in this genre has to be Universal Orlando Resort's Halloween Horror Nights, where the Universal parks stay open late with amazing set dressings throughout the parks with matching characters everywhere. From flame-throwers to special haunted sets. From Freddy Kruger to Jason and Leatherface! This is a must see!

    Hye guys,
sorry this text should have been on top of the pictures.... for some reason it didnt go through...
    Anyway,
Yes, Disney does the "Not-so-scary halloween Parties",
but my favourite has to be the "Halloween Horror Nights" at the Universal Orlando resort!
Its brilliant, with all the classic universal horror characters from Freddy Kruger to Jason and the Leatherface. The entire park is set up for this event. theres Characters around every corner with incredible horror sets. This is a must see!

    Jeez... That's hideous.

Definitely a more adult spin the the Universal Halloween events. Don't think my three year old would appreciate that.

The Halloween party is the BEST one and its the best time of year to visit. Crowds are low and the weather is great and you get free candy and the Halloween party parade is the best...and...and...trust me it rules...

I've never been there on Halloween, but I heard it was good.
