Is all the talk of recession affecting crowds at Disney?

I must admit, I'm not that much in the know when it comes to economics, but I do understand that when people spend more than they can afford at some point they are going to hit problems.

The reason I brought this subject up, is that I've just read an interesting post on the following blog, which discusses that the cost of hotel rooms in Orlando is expected to fall even though we are heading into the busy summer season.

John Wayne : Will Orlando follow Las Vegas' lead and soon begin offering deep discounts on vacation packages ?

Have any recent visitors to Disney noticed any slacking off of the crowds at the parks or prices of hotels? What about the restaurants? Are the more upscale restaurants losing out to the likes of Sizzler?

Being out driving a cab, everyday in the Disney area - Yes, recession is affecting Orlando. People are definitely coming, but on a tight budget. People don't throw money around like they used to. But our loss, is your gain. You can get a sweet deal due to the economy. Hope to see you soon.
    Sincerely,
