American Idol Experience Information

An official Disney page has been setup for the American Idol Experience that is due to open in January 2009 at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

There's a section on the site detailing what will be in the "experience". So you can participate by watching, voting or performing, where performing is a series of auditions to get you to the finals for the day.

The reason for putting money into an offshore account is that the interest is paid gross, unlike with UK banks where tax is deducted at source. You then declare the interest on your self assessment and dont have to pay the tax until 31 Jan following the end of the tax year in which the interest was received. So you are in fact delaying the payment of tax.
