Disney World trip for April 2009

My wife and me are planning to surprise our 5 yr old daughter with a Disney World trip in April 2009 for her 5th birthday. I would appreciate info on the following:

1) Which sites offer the best deals for Disney hotels and theme parks?
2) Is a 5 night 6 day trip good enough to visit 3 theme parks and do a Sea World too?
3) Is it realistic to have a budget of about $1100 (minus airfare) and achieve the above?
4) What is a must see and what can be skipped?
5) How much in advance do I need to book a Cinderella breakfast/tea party for my daughter's birthday?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Dinsey World trip for April 2009

Are you travelling during Easter?

1) Are you talking true "Disney" hotels, or just hotels near Disney? Have a look at this thread... http://www.orlandovisiting.com/forum....html#post1643

2) Certainly possible, again are you travelling at Easter. If so, this is one of the busiest times to visit Disney World. Tips as always are to plan what you want to do in advance and arrive at the parks nice and early.

3) Is this for hotels, tickets, food, gifts?

4) Definitely Magic Kingdom, Epcot

5) You can book this up to 180 days in advance. So try now...

My tentative dates are 4/25 to 4/29 (definitely flexible but my kid's birthday is on the 28th)

Yup! By true Disney I guess u mean somethig like the 'All Stars' or 'All Movies'? That's what I mean too. Just to complete the Disney experience

Hotels and tickets. I guess Dining Plans tend to push the cost up, so I'll remain flexible on the food part.

4) Definitely Magic Kingdom, Epcot

Which sites can I get the best deals? You think it's doable in a budget of $1200 for 5 nights and 6 days (sans airfare?)

Thanks again.

Re: Disney World trip for April 2009

For hotels you could look at MouseSavers.com - Disney World Vacation Discount - DisneyWorld Discounts

Your tickets will set you back around $640 for the Disney + $129 ish for Seaworld.

That'll leave you with around $72 a day for hotel + food + anything else.
