    Smile 2 days in Orlando

Hello! I'll be visiting Orlando for 2 days. I'm actually flying in from Toronto, Canada into Palm Beach with my mom. I found a website for charter buses that can take me to Orlando:

Disney Trips From Miami to Orlando

So if we take that trip option, we will have 2 days in Orlando. There's soooo places to visit but since we have only 2 days, I'll have to make some very hard decisions and visit only a limited number of parks I had a lot of questions that I was hoping the more experienced members can help answer!

    1. What parks should I visit??? I definitely want to go to Magic Kingdom!!! I'm interested in going to Epcot - can I do both on the same day? I know my question might make ppl think I'm crazy, but it's my first time so I have no idea what to expect - I'm just sooo excited!!!

    2. If not Epcot, which other theme park will be better?? To give u an idea, I"m 28 and my mom is... well, mom's mom

    3. Do visitors buy separate tickets for each of the parks, like a separate ticket for Magic Kingdom, separate for Epcot, etc. or is it the one that gives access to all?

    4. I'm thinking of visiting Universal Studios and Island of Adventure - are they ONE theme park or two separate ones?? Do they require two separate tickets for entrance? If I were to choose between the two, which one would be better? (I know, again a laughable question, but given the limited time that I have, I'm forced to make choices )

Sorry for all the long questions, but there's still so many more popping out of my head right now!! I would really appreciate all the help I can get here!!

    Thx!!!

    Re: 2 days in Orlando

So... Do you have two FULL days, can you get to the park prior to the gate opening as that is the best way to get the most from your visit.

Also, I'm assuming you want to spend one day at Disney, one at Universal?

Anyhow, can you do MK and Epcot in one day. You can certainly visit both but to see absolutely everything in MK will take more than one day. So if you want to go to both parks, I'd suggest heading up to MK first with a definite priority as to what you want to see or do there. I'd be planning to head over to Epcot to finish off the day with a meal and the Illuminations show. Make an ADR for a restaurant if you can.

I think the cheapest way you can do this is with a 1 day hopper ticket. Info on the hopper ticket here: Disney World Park Hopper Tickets Information

Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure a seperate parks, accessible from the same car parks. You can walk from one park to another if you really want, but personally I'd focus on Universal Studios rather than IOA.

    Re: 2 days in Orlando

Thanks for the feedback. I don't think my mom will enjoy Universal Studios very much so I've dropped the idea of Universal Studios, and maybe do another theme park instead at Disneyworld if time permits. I checked the itinerary and saw that I'll get to the first theme park between 11:30 a.m and 12 noon (that's when the tour bus will get there) and I have till the park closing time on the first day. On the 2nd day, I will have the from the park opening time till about 5 or 5:30 p.m. So I'm thinking:

    1. Go to Magic Kingdom on the first day (I'd like to watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdome that evening - I've heard that it's amazing!)
    2. Go to Epcot on the second day

My question is, can I fit in Disney Hollywood Studios with Epcot on the second day? Can I see both in the time that I have on the second day (i.e. from about 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) Epcot is my first priority and I'd like to see some specific stuff there.

If it is possible to do both Epcot and Hollywood Studios on the second day, should I then get the hopper ticket on that day, or should I just add it onto my ticket on the first day? This is still a bit confusing for me...

    And sorry, what is ADR?

Thanks again for all the help!

An ADR = Advanced Dining Reservation.

Epcot is huge. Personally I wouldn't try to do both in one day. Also, World Showcase usually opens 2 hours after the official Epcot opening time.

BTW... On the ticket front, I think there is only about $1 or so between a 1 day ticket + 1 day hopper and a two day hopper.
